mirOculus – HTC Challenge

Team mirOculus brings forward a novel diagnostic approach which screens for a new class of very promising biomarkers; microRNAs. Detecting microRNAs that circulate in blood plasma/serum allows to screen for many types of cancer with one test that is affordable, fast and non invasive. We set out to democratize access to cancer diagnosis and progressively offer an early warning system for cancer by detecting abnormal changes in the profiles of blood circulating microRNAs.
